Arabic vs Indian Mehndi: What's the Real Difference?

Good lines are not only about your hand โ they are about the cone. No artist can draw a clean line with a leaking or loose cone.
Step 1 โ Cut the sheet correctly
Not a rectangle โ a slightly tapered shape. Sheet quality matters too: thin film tears the moment you roll it.
Step 2 โ Roll tight from the tip
Start at the tip and keep the inside tight. If a gap is left at the tip, the paste will escape from exactly there.
Step 3 โ Fill only two-thirds
Overfilling causes leaks from the back. Fill two-thirds, press the air out, then fold.
Step 4 โ Seal and rest
Seal with tape and stand the cone tip-down for ten minutes so any air bubbles rise out.
Step 5 โ Cut the tip last
The smallest possible cut for fine work. Always cut the tip immediately before you use it.
